In December 2013 Chris Grayling said he believed that the European Court of Human Rights did not ‘make this country a better place’.

Presumably he thinks this about the Human Rights Act as well given his proposals to scrap the Act and turn human rights into a privilege Parliament chooses to bestow on the few it deems ‘worthy’.

We fundamentally disagree with Grayling’s take on both the Human Rights Act and the European Convention of Human Rights (ECHR).
